Facet's Dam Sire: Tolbert
The refined stallion, Tolbert, is a well-known sire of both dressage and jumping horses distinguished by the success of his progeny. Like Facet, he too is known for his rideability and trainability.
Dam's Grandsire: Erdball XX
Erdball XX sired 384 foals, including 3 licensed sons, and 3 licensed grandsons, earning himself the Preferent predicate. Bred to the Model Keur Preferent mare Milea, pictured below, he gave rise to the elegant, athletic and talented lines of Tolbert, above.
Dam's Grand-dam: Model Keur Preferent Milea
Dam's Maternal Grandsire: Courville XX
Courville XX is another influential thoroughbred sire in the Dutch studbook, having given rise to 4 licensed sons (3 with the keur predicate), and 11 licensed grandsons, from a total of 464 foals. It is not by coincidence that Dutch breeders used him so heavily in their breeding programs.
