| Bella Vittoria, 2006 filly born June 12 out of Pik's Promise (Pik's Pride/Top of Class/Der Radetzky). Pik's Promise is branded Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar, but received a First Premium from the KWPN/NA, and after successfully completing her PROK, was entered into the Main Mare Book and received the Ster and PROK predicates. She will be eligible for the Keur and Elite predicates after completion of the performance requirements. Pictured above at 5 days old (bottom row), Bella Vittoria showed the makings of an elastic uphill trot from the start. The middle photos show her conformation at 2 months of age. She was inspected by the NA/WPN (top row) and received praise for her movement and conformation, but fell just shy of a First Premium because she (not unexpectedly) was small and under-muscled for her age, due to her birth roughly 3 weeks prior to her due date. Owner/Breeder: Gay Walker |

Flashdance, a 2006 filly by Facet out of Pregelsong (Pregelstrand x Smoothway XX), was born in late April. Owner/Breeder: Gay Walker. Flashdance was presented at the German Oldenburg Inspection (Oldenburg Horse Breeders' Society/North American Division of Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V.) on June 23, and was determined to be of "Premium-type with a swinging back and elastic uphill movement, but sadly not eligible for a premium because her dam is in the PreMare Book. She will make a fine riding horse." She was entered into the Main Foalbook. Photos at 2 days, and at 5 weeks. |

Kasper (Facet/Superieur), owned and ridden by Susanne Dansby-Phelps, competed at Gladstone
in the Festival of Champions in 2001, 2002 and 2003 at Prix St.
Georges and Intermediaire-1. He moved up to Grand Prix in 2004, and placed 3rd in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special at Dressage at Devon, and then followed that accomplishment by winning the USDF/GAIG Region 3 Championships Grand Prix title. Kasper and Susanne competed at Grand Prix in 2005, with scores consistently in the high 60's and into the 70's.
Susanne, who imported Kasper in 2000, says that Michael Poulin found him for her and told her that he was the nicest horse he'd seen in twenty years. She also says that Kasper is "always fresh. He gives 150%. He has a huge heart, and is like riding a soft stick of butter." --DressageDaily
