Pik's Pride's Accomplishments

Pik's Pride was licensed in 2000 in Aachen, Germany, and successfully completed his 100-Day Performance Test that same year at the Landgestut Zweibrücken, receiving a 10 for character, and 9's for walk, trot, canter and rideability.

After a year off recovering from a dental abscess (requiring surgery and a root canal), Pik's 2004 debut return to the show ring at 4th Level received an astounding 73.953%, with scores of 9 for gaits and medium trot. Judges comments included, "Magnificent horse, with lovely gaits and uphill balance - great expression and carriage! Well presented." Pik's Pride was the Upper Level High Percentage Champion for the show, and has gone on to be undefeated and to win the High Point Award at every show he has entered (which have included three CDI***s). His success, and his consistent work at home in the pirouettes and tempi's encouraged Jennifer to debut him at Prix St. Georges at the Pebble Beach CDI*** in July, where he won the Open Prix St. Georges High Point Perpetual Trophy. In his most recent outing at the Cool August Nights Show at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, he received a 72.000% and was awarded the FEI High Percentage Champion for the show.
