Pik's Pride combines well with many different mare types, most foals receiving premium status and all showing Pik's strong influential stamp! Pik's foals consistently show his balanced, uphill freedom of movement with great amounts of suspension and elasticity. Pik's foals have all had beautiful head and neck sets coming nicely out of the withers, and very correct conformation including a nicely built hind leg with enormous power. Every one of Pik's foals have been an absolute delight to work with--very willing and with soft dispositions.


Pik's Kiara, 2001 filly out of Experiences (Ehrentusch x Duccio). Pik's Kiara is competing in hunter classes, and qualified for the Greater San Diego Hunter/Jumper Championships after just two shows! Her first foal, Herbstgold (by Herzberg) received a Premium from the German Oldenburg Verband. Pik's Kiara was recently purchased by Katie Neglia. Says Katie, "We're so happy with her! She's a definite barn favorite with her amazing personality and constant curiousity. Pik's Primus, 2002 gelding out of Experiences (Ehrentusch x Duccio). Pik's Primus was awarded a Gold Medal Premium at his foal inspection in 2002, receiving an overal 8.3 score, and ranking #3 on the 2002 Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar Inspection Tour, and as a four year-old he continued to impress, receiving an 81.5% and winning the 4 Year-Old Materiale Class at his very first show! Pik's Primus was purchased by 13 year-old Emma Rose Ransom in July 2006, and by September 2006, the pair were ready for competition, winning their Training Level Class with a 66%--a testament to Primus' level-headedness and rideability! Pik's Promise, 2002 filly by Pik's Pride out of Tequila Sunrise (Top of Class x Der Radetzky x Adlerfarn II), was the #3 ranked filly on the 2002 RPSI Inspection Tour. She received a Gold Medal Premium, and an 8.3 for her trot. Owner/Breeder: Gay Walker. In September 2005, Pik's Promise was taken to the NA/WPN Keuring for possible entry into their Auxiliary Mare Book. She received a coveted First Premium...quite a feat for a non-Dutch mare! She completed her PROK (the same radiographic and endoscopic requirements imposed on stallions) in September 2006, and was moved the NA/WPN Main Mare Book and also awarded the Ster and PROK Predicates, and will receive her Keur and Elite Predicates once she has completed the performance requirement. Pik's Promise also attended the GOV and RPSI Inspections, receiving entry into their Main Mare Books. The Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar awarded Promise straight 8's for all aspects of conformation, and for her gaits, resulting in a final score of 56--the highest score awarded to a mare in 2005 and besting last year's highest scoring mare as well! Pik's Promise was in foal to Facet for 2006, and produced a filly in June, Bella Vittoria. She began her competition career at Training Level in May 2007, placing 2nd and 3rd at her first show.
