USDF 2003 JR/YR National Champion and NA/WPN Horse-of-the-Year in the Open Division with his then 13 year-old rider, excelling at Third Level in 2005, and 65.8% at Fourth Level debut at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center Cool August Nights Show under Judge Jennifer Roth. He has had High Point Awards at virtually every show entered.

In 2006, he took his rider to the USEF FEI Junior Dressage Team Championships in Pebble Beach July 7 - 9, , an honor reserved for the top 12 horse/rider pairs in the United States, and also to the North American Continent Junior/Young Rider Championships in Lexington, VA where they represented USDF Region 7.

At the NAJYRC, they placed 4th individually, scoring personal bests in both the FEI Junior Individual and FEI Junior Musical Freestyles.

Kalibre is competing successfully at Prix St. Georges, placing no lower than 3rd at his first two shows, which included the World Cup League Final/Festival of the Horse Show in Los Angeles, and the West Coast's largest dressage show, DG Bar Dressage. (He has had a 3rd, 1st and two 2nd's after two shows). Although Kalibre's rider loves him dearly, she is graduating from high school in June 2007 and will be going away to college, making it time for him to find a new riding partner. He has been with his current rider since her 12th birthday, growing with her from First Level to Prix St. Georges/schooling Intermediaire-1.

Kalibre would be the ideal horse for a junior rider looking to learn more about dressage and dreaming about NAJYRC or USEF Dressage Team Championships, or for an amateur that wants to have fun at home and/or be competitive for national championships and year-end awards.
