Pik's Pride, the impressive black Oldenburg stallion is known mostly for his rideability and powerful, elevated movement. Pik's
Pride descends from the legendary bloodline of Pik Noir, Pik Bube, and Pik Konig, all known for their
rideability and versatility. Pik Bube is the most famous son of the Cellar Landgestut stallion Pik Konig. With 11 wins out of 12 starts, Pik
Bube made his
debut in S-Dressur with rider Hebert Rehbein. Pik Bube has produced 28 licensed sons to date. Pik's sire, Pik Noir, proved himself with 5 licensed sons and multiple state premium mares.
Pik Noir's offspring are highly sought after and paid for. In 2000, a son of Pik Noir sold for 450,000 DM at
the P.S.I. Auction in Ankum, Germany. Pik's Pride's dams sire
Barsoi xx was a strong producer of versatile sporthorses that went on to compete internationally in both Eventing and Dressage. Barsoi xx brings elegance, willpower
and hardiness to this great pedigree combination.
Pik's Pride was first licensed in Aachen, Germany. He then went on to successfully pass his 100 day test at the Landgestut Zeibrucken, receiving a 10 for character, and 9's for trot, canter and
rideability. In the competition ring, Pik's Pride won most all of his Materiale Classes in Germany with scores up to 89%. In the United States, Pik's Pride continued his success by winning the FEI 5 Year Old Young Horse Class at the Del Mar National Horse
Show CDI*** and winning the Reserve Champion at the FEI 5 Year Old Young Horse West Coast Regional Finals. In 2001 Pik's Pride was ranked 3rd
overall in the United
States by USET for 5 year olds. He again drew attention in 2002 where he was Reserve Champion at the Del Mar National Horse Show CDI*** for 6 Year Old Young Horses.

At Third Level, Pik's Pride has won many championship titles and 1st place ribbons with scores up to 75%. He was also named champion
Third Level HOY by the German Oldenburg Verband. In 2004, he had 11 starts at Fourth Level and won 10 of them consecutively with scores up to 74%. Pik was 2004 USDF HOY Fourth Level Vice Champion
with a median score of 70%. He also won the Fourth Level HOY for the German Oldenburg Verband. In July of 2005, Pik's pride has his first Prix St. George debut at
the Pebble Beach CDI*** and won
the Prix St. George Perpetual Trophy. At the LAEC Dressage Show, Pik won two Prix St. George classes with a 72.750%, earning him the FEI Highpoint Award. In 2007, Pik again won
multiple Prix St. George classes with scores of over 70%. And at Pebble Beach CDI*** Pik once again won the Perpetual Trophy, this time at
Intermediare I. In 2009 Pik's Pride again impressed judges by showing up
to Intermediare II winning with scores up to 73% including FEI High Point
awards.

As a breeding stallion, Pik's Pride's foals score impressively with most receiving gold medal and premium status. A colt by Pik's Pride was named 2002 Champion Colt at the LA
Breeders Classic with a score of 83.5% making him overall highpoint winner for the entire show. At the same show, Pik's Pride won the Get of Sire class. Three other offspring were the top 5
in every class entered with scores as high as 8.0.
Many of Pik's offspring receive champion and reserve champion ribbons at
inspections for the German Oldenburg, Rhineland Pfalz-Saar and Westfalen Verbands. In 2004, Pik's Pride produced four premium foals at the
German Oldenburg Verband inspection. In
2005, two-three year old daughters tied for the Reserve Champion Mare Title at the German Oldenburg Inspection; Pik's
Promise out of a Top of Class dam and Pik's Kiara
out of an Ehrentusch dam. In 2007, a Pik's Pride daughter was Reserve Champion at her keuring with a
total score of 7.5. In 2009 a Pik's Pride daughter, Redhawk's Prophecy, became
the GOV Mare Performance Test Champion with scores of 8.5 for free trot and
canter receiving an overall score of 8.02. She also earned the Special Premium
Candidate Title.
The first crops of offspring are now under saddle and consistently show Pik's Pride's
rideability, balance and remarkable suspension in their gaits. His offspring have
won multiple Dressage and Hunter competitions with scores over 70% with both amateurs and professionals. Pik's Pride's offspring are
definitely first class.

- Sired the 2009 Mare Performance Test Champion, Redhawk's Prophecy
with a score of 8.02. This mare was also recognized with the Special
Premium Candidate Title.
- Pik's Pride's offspring have achieved huge success in the
dressage ring with winning scores between 70-82% and high point and
year-end awards. Portofino, a Pik's Pride son, qualified for the FEI 5 year old
Young Horse Championships in Illinois with David Blake. David and Portofino won
the FEI 5 year old qualification classes with scores to 8.2!
- At PSG and Intermediare I, accumulated multiple Championship titles and high scores.
"Pik" received scores up to 75% earning him multiple
Perpetual Trophies and Ribbons.
- In 2004, awarded the USDF Reserve Champion Horse of the Year at 4th Level with a median score of 70.0%
and named Champion Horse
of the Year at Fourth Level by the German Oldenburg Verband and Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar, International.
- 10 consecutive wins at 4th Level with scores to 73.953%
in 2004.
- Reserve Champion 6 Year-Old FEI Young Horse at Del Mar CDI*** 2003.
